Assagao Union High School collaborated with Lions Club Mapusa and Lions Club Assagao to implement the Lions Quest Programme for students of grade 7. Lions Quest is a globally recognized educational programme developed by Lions Clubs International. It aims to nurture young students to develop life skills, self-esteem, build healthy relationships, make responsible decisions and become engaged citizens in their communities.
As part of the programme, Lion Quest books were distributed to the students, with each student receiving a copy to enhance their learning experience. Another copy was provided to their parents, emphasizing the importance of parental involvement in their educational journey.
Sudesh Kochrekar, the Lion Quest coordinator for North Goa and the headmaster of Kirti Vidyalaya Siolim, enlightened the students about the programme's significance and guided them through the valuable contents of the Lion Quest book.
