PANAJI: The Mormugao Taluka Chess Association is organising late Venkatesh and Sumathi Shanbhag, 3rd Edition of All India Open Rapid Chess Tournament on May 25 and 26, at St. Therese’s High School Hall, Mangor Hill, Vasco, which is sponsored by Venkatesh Shanbhag Charitable Trust.
Many rated players from all over India & Goa are expected to participate in this unique event. Cash prizes worth Rs. 1 Lakh and 85 Trophies in different categories are up for grabs.
