Rashtriya Ekta Divas (National Unity Day) is observed on October 31 every year to commemorate the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the architect of national integration of independent India.
In view of the above a virtual pledge taking ceremony was organized at Anjuman H.I. High School, Vasco on October 31 at 9.00 am with great zest and enthusiasm. The morning assembly was conducted by PE teacher Anik Naik which was followed by the pledge taking ceremony. The Headmaster MP Dabholkar delivered a speech on the importance of the day and administered the pledge to all the participants. The students participated virtually in considerable number along with all teachers of the school. The programme concluded with National Anthem sung by the teachers.The technical support for the virtual programme was provided by Abdul Wahab Khan.
