PANAJI: Bhangarale Goi will be performing at the Vishwa Konkani Kendra’s ceremony at Mangalore on February 9. The group is known for its performance in various States in India apart from Goa, and also in the International Film Festival of India and Jagatik Gomantakiy Sammelan.
The event will witness the inauguration of Konkani stalwart Bastimam statue, book exhibition, seminars etc. The event will also hold the inauguration of Goa’s former Chief Minister and Union Defense Minister Manohar Parrikar’s photo-frame. Bhangarale Goi will offer a presentation with ghumat, shamel, tablamel and Konkani songs under the guidance of Dr Purnanand Chari.
The other artists are Bindiya Naik Vast, Pankaj Namshikar, Ashwek Shanbhag, Shrunkhala Joshi, Samarth Komarpant. These singers will be accompanied by musicians Manohar Tamhankar, Rohit Bandodkar, Ashwin Shinde, Pradyumn Chari, Soham Ranade. The event will be compered by Dr Rupa Chari.
