MARGAO: The Saraswat Food and Cultural Festival 2023 will be held for three days from February 10 on BPS Sports Club grounds, Margao.
Organised by Goa Saraswat Samaj, the festival is open to all communities and general public and the entry is free.
This year, the venue is named as ‘Padma Bhushan Manohar Prabhu Parrikar Nagar’ in honour of former Defense Minister late Manohar Parrikar.
Addressing the media, President of Goa Saraswaj Samaj Dr Jagannath (Desh) Prabhudessai said that the festival will be inaugurated on 10 February at 5pm.
He added that the meritorious students of Saraswat community who have excelled in various academic examinations will be felicitated on behalf on Sunday between 10 am to 1 pm at the hands of Utpal Manohar Parrikar.
