The Education Committee of Goa Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GCCI), The Indian Pharmaceutical Association and Goa Pharmaceutical Manufacturers' Association is holding the finals of Big Idea Project Competition (II and III year students of architecture, engineering and pharmacy colleges in Goa) on May 27 at GCCI hall in Panaji and the prize distribution will be at 12.15 at the hands of GCCI president Ralph de Souza, in the presence of Gopal Krishna Rao (president IPA), Praveen Khullar (president, GPMA), Raghuveer Vernekar (chair, EduCom GCCI) and project coordinator Sachin Mirajkar. GCCI’s Big Idea Project involves engineering, pharmacy and architecture students in Goa from 11 colleges. The project deals with getting the students of BE, BFarm and BArch to formulate projects in the 2nd and 3rd year and shall receive acknowledgement in terms of awards and recognition. The project proposes to nurture creativity, inculcate the ideas of innovation, engage with and address social problems and propose solutions using the tools learnt within the curriculum.
