A cleanliness drive was carried out in the village of Nadora under the mission #gavakhatir. Fed up by the growing pile of garbage polluting and ruining the beauty of the serene village, a group of children created awareness posters. Do's and don'ts, for example, segregation of wet and dry waste and no burning of plastic waste, were highlighted in the posters which were distributed house to house in the village. The group also held discussions with the sarpanch and ex-sarpanch following which the group went on a cleanliness drive clearing roadside garbage and black spots. The garbage was segregated into respective bags like yellow for medical waste, pink for glass, etc.
