The BJP conducted a training programme for health volunteers on medical emergencies, as part of the National Health Volunteers campaign. Urban Development Minister Milind Naik inaugurated the programme in the presence of MMC Chairperson Damodar Kaskar, Ravindra Bhavan Chairman Jayant Jadhav, doctors and councillors at Ravindra Bhavan, Baina. "The Mormugao and Vasco BJP mandals organised the Booth Level Training programme on "Care against COVID-19" (National Health Volunteers Campaign) at Ravindra Bhavan. Two Karyakartas from all booths of Mormugao and Vasco were given training to visit houses in the constituency and spread awareness of Covid 19:15 PM 8/24/20219,” said Jadhav. “The health volunteers are also trained to assist citizens in the pandemic and motivate them to take both doses of vaccination. The health volunteers will be geared up in case we have a third Covid wave.”
