Brahamanand SK Shankhwalkar was felicited by the Managing Committee of Shantadurga Shankhwaleshwari Sausthan Veling recently. The prestigious Padmashree award of the Govt of India had earlier been conferred on Brahamanand Shankhwalkar. Upendra Kunkolienkar, President of Sausthan along with Kiran Padiar, Ashish Shankhwalkar, Gaurish J Shankhwalkar, Dr Datta Bhat, Yogesh Shirdonkar, Pranav Shirdonkar, and Rajesh Devimanekar along with others were present on the occasion.
PANAJI: The season of Lent commenced on Ash Wednesday with the celebration of the Eucharist and blessing of the Ashes at the Our Lady of Immaculate Conception Church in Panaji.
