The state government’s annual overall GST and VAT collections has shown a steady increase every financial year until 2020-21 post which has fallen, growing from Rs 3,651.8 cr in 2017-18, Rs 4,032.08cr in 2018-19, Rs 4,287.45 cr in 2019-20, to Rs 4,691 cr in 2020-21, Rs 4,412 cr in 2021-22 upto Dec 2021. To understand the Industrial need & to solve the finance related issues Goa Chamber of Commerce & Industry in collaboration with ASSOCHAM have organised a Finance Clinic on March 7 from 3 pm to 5.30 pm in the GCCI Surendrababu Timblo Convention Hall, Panaji. All the major Nationalised & Private Banks will be present and this clinic will be a one stop solution to finance keeping in mind the fast approaching Financial year end. Matters related to loan, Restructuring, Moratorium, Processing & Export finance will be some of the focus areas. Banks will also discuss their flagship schemes. This will be a free event without any charges. The RBI Goa General Manager R J Nampoothiri will be the Chief Guest & will inaugurate the Clinic. This Finance Clinic has be conceptualised by Manguirish Pai Raiker, Chairman National Council of MSME- ASSOCHAM and supported by the GCCI Industry Committee headed by Gautam Raj ( Plant Head) MRF Ltd.
