The new bhakti geet, "Manguesha Deva Mhajea" written by well known Konkani lyricist John Aguiar was released at Shree Manguesh Saunsthan, Mangueshim at the hands of Dr Ajit Kantak in the distinguised presence of Managing Director of GHRDC Narayan Navti on Mahashivratri on Tuesday. The song is sung by well known vocalist Samiksha Bhobe Kakodkar while the music composition/arrangement/mixing is done by well know music composer Akshay Naik and recorded at Shree Mahalsa Recording studio, Savoi Verem. The DOP/Editing/Camera and drone piloting is done by Uddhav Kerkar of Eye Click. Dr Kantak lauded the efforts of the artistes specially John Aguiar, Akshay Naik, Samiksha and Uddhav for their beautiful song on Lord Manguesha. He said it is nice to see such songs now in Konkani language and said that more such devotional songs needs to be made. This song on Lord Manguesha he said will make a very good impact and eventually will be popular among devotees. Navti said that the song has come out nicely and appreciated the artistes.He said Samiksha sung the song with full devotion. The lyrics by John Aguiar are again devotional and very nicely composed by Akshay Naik. He had a word of praise for superb photograbhy by Uddhav Kerkar.
