The Parents-Teachers Association (PTA) at Chubby Cheeks Spring Valley High School, Pilerne celebrated the achievements of the students at the SSC exam 2019-20 conducted by the Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education in a recently organised annual function in the presence of the director of Education, Santosh S Amonkar, chairman of Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Bhagirath Shetye and the sarpanch of the Village Panchayat Pilerne Sandeep Bandodkar.Allena Fernandes secured the highest marks in the state of Goa at the SSC Examination held in May 2020 along with the other school toppers. The school toppers were felicitated at the function. The chairman, headmistress and teaching faculty of the school were also felicitated.
“It is a proud moment for the institution to have Allena Fernandes, securing the highest marks at the SSC Examination May 2020," said headmistress Selena D'Souza and praised the students for securing 100 per cent result. The PTA chairperson Dr Manisha Fernandes, chairman of Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Bhagirath Shetye and the director of Education, Santosh S Amonkar, congratulated the students and appreciated the conscientious efforts of the institution. The dignitaries were presented with mementos.
