MARGAO: A flurry of goals saw Cuncolim Union secure a comprehensive 8-1 against Velsao Sports and Cultural Club in the GFA First Division League, at Rosary ground, Navelim, on Wednesday.
The highlight of the day was the brilliant brace each netted by Adarsh Raj, Hansulum Furtado and Arun S Naik while Elitio Fernandes scored the consolation goal for Velsao. Dadapeer Patil and Ayaman Khan were the other goal scorers for the winner.
