PANAJIThe 15th edition of Dharmanand Damodar Kosambi Festival of Ideas will begin on November 10 at Ravindra Bhavan Margao wherein five talks in a series will be conducted till November 14. The festival will be inaugurated in the presence of Chief Minister Pramod Sawant, Margao MLA Digambar Kamat, Fatorda MLA Vijay Sardesai, chief secretary Punit Goyal, Art and Culture secretary Narayan Sawant and minister for Art and Culture Govind Gaude. The lecture series will begin with veteran Goan writer Damodar Mauzo’s talk on ‘61 to 61’ on a multilingual Goa. Day two speaker is Madhavi Menon who would speak on ‘Law of Desire’. Prashant Talpankar will be the coordinator for this session. Devdutt Patnaik will speak on ‘Govyache Dev’ (the deities of Goa). This session will be coordinated by Amruta Patil. The fourth lecture will be ‘Bharatiya Vichardhareche Dosh’ by Suraj Yengde. The fifth and last lecture will be by Pranay Lal who will discuss on ‘Aapla Sakhol Itihas Aaplya Bhavishyabaddal Kay Sangu Shakto’ (What does our detailed history tell us about our future). The coordinator for this lecture will be Aditya Kakodkar.
