Pernem police have arrested a man from Delhi on charges of illegal possession of narcotics at Arambol.
According to Pernem Police Inspector Jivba Dalvi, police received information that a person was involved in drug activities in Arambol and tracked him on Thursday night.
Police said during the search, ganja valued at Rs 16,000 was found in the possession of the accused, Aryamik Sen (23) of Vasant Kunj, Delhi.
The accused has been arrested and further investigation is in progress under the supervision of SDPO Gajanan Prabhudessai and SP North Shobit Saxena.
