Dr Jag Mohan Sharma, one of the foremost stalwarts of Forensic Medicine in India and the founder General Secretary of the Indian Academy of Forensic Medicine was commemorated at the Golden Jubilee Conference of IAFM at Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences in Lucknow on April 29. Dr Pannag S Kumar, Assistant Professor in Forensic Medicine at Goa Medical College delivered the commemorative speech and presented his book “Pictorial Forensic Pathology & Toxicology “ A Colour Atlas” authored by Dr Pannag, which also contains autopsy photographs from Dr Sharma’s collection as a mark of homage. Dr Mukesh Yadav, Principal, RDMC Banda was the organising Secretary of the 2022 Conference. Dr Silvano Dias Sapeco, former Head of Forensic Medicine at GMC was conferred the “Haq and Bose Lifetime Achievement Award”.
