After great success of Estellar-Margao and Estellar-Porvorim, Estellar Academy inaugurated its new centre in Vasco on February 15. Rajendra Arlekar, governor of Himachal Pradesh was the chief guest while Savio Messias was the guest of honour. Also present were Dr ST Puttaraju, Chairman of Estellar Educational Trust, Yogendra Singh Sikarwar, director of Estellar Academy and other dignitaries.
He said “We have been giving promising results from our existing centres at Margao and Porvorim, and the same will be delivered at Vasco. We have given back to back state toppers like Sumukh Phalgaonkar - 2019 Goa board HSSC topper, Aakash Kamat - 2020 CBSE HSSC Goa State topper, Sakshi Hangargekar “ 2020 NTSE Stage 1 Goa state Topper, Abhida Barretto “ NEET 2021 Goa state topper. In fact, Abhida has set a new record for Goa by scoring 680/720, which is the highest score ever for NEET UG of any student from Goa. We are also working on our online platform to deliver quality education and cater to the needs of students at pan-India level.”
Arlekar said, “There is a need of quality education for competitive exams in Vasco and an institute like Estellar Academy is most welcome in Vasco city. We have been longing for institutes for competitive preparation for long and the same has been fulfilled by Dr Puttaraju and his team.”
The newly opened Estellar Vasco centre was blessed by Fr Anthony Vaz, Parish Priest of St. Andrew’s church, Vasco. Arlekar also felicitated Sikarwar, Faizal Shaikh (GM), Fina Lobo (branch head) and Ratish Dessai (marketing incharge). Shaikh, GM of Estellar Academy proposed the vote of thanks while Akanksha Kamat, faculty, Estellar Academy compered the event.
