PANAJI: The launch of AB-PMJAY for beneficiaries above age of 70 years will be held at the hands of Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant in the presence of MP and BJP State president Sadanand Shet Tanavade, Mapusa MLA Josua D’Souza and Bicholim MLA Dr Chandrakant Shetye at 10 am.
The free eye-check up for patients above 60 years of age will be conducted by Dr Chandrakant Shetye and team from 8.30 am to 12 noon at Vision Multispecialty Hospital, Mapusa on September 23.
On this occasion, the BJP State Medical cell is organising an eye check-up camp and free distribution of spectacles to needy patients, to mark the occasion of launch of Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB-PMJAY) to senior citizens above the age of 70.
