MARGAO: Fatorda Veterans blanked Nuvem Veterans 3-0 and moved to the quarter-finals of the Betalbatim Kala Mogi 2nd Goa Veterans Football Cup, at Betalbatim ground, on Tuesday.
Fatorda Veterans opened the score line in 14th minute through Rosario Carvalho with a neat placement while Nuvem's Francisco Pango's shot missed the target in the 28th minute.
In second half, Fatorda Veterans' Joao Araujo scored from a penalty kick in 40th minute while Rosario Carvalho completed his brace in the 50th minute. Nuvem's Minguel, Joaquim and Francisco tried hard to score but luck did not favour them.
