Governor of Goa PS Sreedharan Pillai has extended his heartiest greetings and warm wishes to the people of Goa on the festive occasion of Ram Navami. Pillai in his message stated that Ram Navami signifies the memorable day on which Lord Rama was born. Every year Hindu community celebrates the Ram Navami with gaiety and religious fervour across the country. Lord Ram also known as “Maryada Purshotam”, is symbol of truth, righteousness and morality as well as the destroyer of evil. Ram Navami offers to the people an opportunity to renew the spiritual, moral and ethical values and virtues and to rededicate themselves to the cause of social harmony, goodwill, spiritual solidarity and progress. On this occasion of Ram Navami, we should take a vow to live together in total amity and brotherhood and allow no evil forces to destroy our peace and national unity and integrity, Governor added.
Chief Minister Pramod Sawant has also conveyed his warm wishes to the people of Goa on the auspicious occasion of Ram Navami. In his message, Sawant said, "Prabhu Shree Ram has been the 'Aaradhya Daivat' and he is held as an emblem of the values of righteousness, virtue, and dharma among others.This year's Ram Navami celebration holds added significance as Ramlalla is Virajman at his Janmabhoomi," he added.
Chief Minister said that the Ramalalla Pranpratishtha in Ayodhya holds profound significance not only for the Hindu community but for our nation as a whole.
The Chief Minister further said, "This historic event symbolizes unity, harmony, and the spirit of collective faith that transcends barriers of caste, creed, and religion."
