The match unfolded as a rollercoaster of emotions, with Fatorda initially seizing control as striker Francisco Andrade's thunderous strike in the 10th minute sent shockwaves through Calangute's defense, only to be swiftly countered by Paresh's equaliser in the 20th minute. Despite relentless pressure from Calangute's midfield maestros Marcus Carvalho and Robert Fernandes, it was Seby Fernandes who ignited their hopes with a 45th-minute lead. Yet, just when Calangute dared to dream of the final, Francisco Andrade unleashed his heroics once more, rescuing Fatorda with a dramatic injury-time equaliser, propelling the encounter into a shoot-out.
