PANAJIFree Breast Cancer Screening Camp was organised by Shri Kutch Kadav Patidar Samaj Mapusa under Swastha Goa Swastha Mahila Initiative in association with YouWeCan Foundation and JCI Porvorim recently at Grand Kadamba, Porvorim. The programme began with an inaugural programme and a breast cancer awareness talk about the signs and symptoms of breast cancer, self-breast examination, the screening procedure of breast cancer by Dr Niky Hadfadkar, Cluster coordinator, YouWeCan. More than 90 women participated in this camp. The programme was successfully conducted in the presence of Shri Kutch Kadav Patidar Samaj Mapusa Goa members Manjibhai Patel, Vice President Purshottam Makani, General secretary Vijayaben Patel, Mahila mandal President Jyostna Patel, Yuti Mandal President Visanji Patel, Yuva mandal President Bhupendra Patel, Yuva mandal Secretary Nitin Patel and youth members and volunteers of Kutch Kadav Patidar Samaj. Cluster coordinators from YouWeCan Dr Niky Hadfadkar, Dr Stella Fernandes and Dr Prateeksha Saxena were on duty. JCI Porvorim President elect Dr Amit Rokade and Past President Sanyukta Gawade as well as coordinators from Satt-adhar Arcade, Peddem, Mapusa, Nanasaheb Zakane and Namrita Zakane were present on the occasion.
