PANAJIPC Trust felicitated Ida De Mello Deussua, ex-teacher of SMA recently for her selfless devotion towards mentoring physically disabled children, adults from Chinchinim and around. She has been carrying on this selfless service for the last 25 years and she treats them to an outing and even provides gifts yearly. Ida entertains them by home visits on birthdays and on special occasions like Christmas etc. She raises resources by making homemade pickles, wines, jams etc and setting stalls in fairs. She also arranges Govt subsidies by completing due formalities.
HDFC Bank holds blood donation drive
PANAJIHDFC Bank on Wednesday held its nation-wide ‘Blood Donation Drive’ under its flagship CSR programme #Parivartan. The initiative was inaugurated by Sashidhar Jagdishan, MD & CEO, HDFC Bank at the Bank's headquarters in Mumbai. It was simultaneously launched at over 5,500 centres in 1,150 cities across India, making it one of the largest initiatives of its kind in the country.
