Top B-School Goa Institute of Management (GIM) recently hosted its largest virtual convocation ceremony for all four PGDM program batches of 2020 and 2021. It was the first convocation ceremony of the Big Data Analytics programme. After having completed over 22 months of academically packed intensive training with exposure to industrial projects, a total of 842 students were conferred their diplomas at the convocation ceremony. While presenting the Director's Report on the institute’s performance for the last academic year, Dr Ajit Parulekar, Director, GIM, said, "Despite all odds, we were able to achieve 100% placement across all programmes. Graduating in the midst of COVID-19's ambiguity and turbulence has been very difficult, but I guarantee that GIM grads are prepared to succeed no matter what the situation.” Ashank Desai, Chairman of the GIM Board of Governors and Founder of Mastek, said, “The key takeaway should be adaptability.
