PANAJI: The Goa University selected the women Kabaddi team for the West Zone inter university kabaddi women championship, which is scheduled from December 21 to 25, at Maharaja Chhatrasal Bundelkhand University, Chhatarpur (MP).
The kit distribution and farewell function for the teams were organized on December 16, at the Sports Section, Goa University, in the presence of Balachandra Jadar, Asst. Director of Physical Education and Sports, Goa University, Dr Shailendra Gaonkar, Assistant Sports Officer, Goa University along with Dr. Sunny Kanekar, Team Coach, and Sumitra Yadav, team manager
The following players will represent Goa University: Panchami Bhat, Divya Velip, Trupti Velip, Asha Salelkar, Riddhi Priolkar, Bindiya Velip Kajal Kashyap, Rani Singh, Supriya Vishwakarma, Karishma Nissar, Yashmita Talwadkar and Alisha Akarkar.
