VASCO: GOACAN, along with the Village Panchayat of Cansaulim-Arossim-Cuelim, organised a ‘Road Safety Awareness Action’ programme to highlight various issues of road safety and traffic management on Saturday.
The programme was organised as part of the ongoing National Road Safety Month 2024. The two-hour-long awareness action programme had the participation of the Panchayat Road Safety & Traffic Management Committee members and GOACAN volunteers who were armed with colourful flags, banners, and placards containing road safety messages for drivers, riders, and pedestrians.
The Road Safety Awareness Action was led by GOACAN Coordinator Roland Martins, along with the Sarpanch Xavier Pereira and Deputy Sarpanch Mervilla Da Costa. The Awareness Action was assisted by Vasco Traffic Cell Police Inspector Shailesh Narvekar, PSI Vaman L Patil, and Head Constable Hirulal H Naik.
