Governor of Goa P S Sreedharan Pillai has extended greetings on the occasion of Easter, particularly the Christian brethren. The Governor in his message said that, on this holy day, Jesus Christ the Apostle of Peace rose from the dead on the third day after his crucifixion. The message of Easter is the message of life and hope for all mankind. This festival gives us the valuable message of brotherhood, love, compassion and forgiveness. Let us practice the ideals of the Lord, so as to make the world a better place to live in. Meanwhile, Chief Minister Pramod Sawant extended his greetings and wishes to the people of the State on the occasion of Easter. CM extended his heartiest greetings particularly to the Christian brethren on the joyous occasion. The CM said, “This Easter, let us intensify our prayer for the world as we continue to celebrate the victory of Christ over evil, hoping that we may be freed from the restraints that keep humanity locked up in darkness. Let us pledge to strive for the welfare of others and let peace and harmony prevail."
