PANAJI: The GSB Unity Cup 2024 T20 cricket tournament, organised by the Goa GSB Sports and Charitable Trust in association with Goa Saraswat Samaj, will be inaugurated on March 8 at 8:30 am at Panjim Gymkhana ground, Panaji.
Akash Khaunte, Director, Alcon Group, will be the chief guest at the event.
The matches will be played from March 8 to May 5 at three venues - Panjim Gymkhana, SK Ground Malkarne and MCC Margao. ALCON (Anil Counto Enterprises) are the title sponsors of the tournament. The winning team will be given a Rolling Trophy sponsored by Prathamesh Sukhthankar in memory of Shamrao Sukhthankar.
Mathagram Warriors, Madgaon Super Strikers, Sinq Rangers, Mapusa Dream Crushers, Desserts and More Avengers and Canacona Warriors have been included in Group A, while Knight Archers, Margao Royals, Antruz Strikers, The CQS Scoring Willows, Rangers and Antruz Rising Stars have been included in Group B.
