MARGAO: Loutolim Veterans defeated Colva Veterans by a solitary goal in the All Goa 24th Veterans Football Tournament, organised by Flame of Unity Sports Club, at Mabai Ground, Per-Seraulim, on Wednesday.
Caitan scored the all-important goal to secure victory for Loutolim Veterans.
Despite being on the losing side, Colva Veterans goalkeeper Xavier Dias was adjudged Man of the Match for his impressive saves. He received the award from Alina Pereira, panch member of Seraulim village panchayat.
