MARGAO: Guardian Angel SC edged past Rossman Cruz, Nagoa-Verna 3-2 and moved into the quarter-finals of the 6th Martins Cup, at Betalbatim panchayat ground, on Monday.
First goal of the match was scored by Joyston Pinho in the 15th minute for Rossman Cruz. However, it didn't take long for Guardian Angel to equalise. Five minutes later, Milton Fernandes of Guardian Angel SC found the net. Joyston Pinho scored one more goal for Rossman Cruz in the 28th minute. Guardian Angel fired two more goals through Airen Fernandes and Norman Dias.
