MARGAO: Guirdolim Club beat Don Bosco Oratory Fatorda 1-0 in the all Goa inter-village football tournament, organised by United Club of Utorda, at SAG ground, Utorda.
DBO Fatorda had a golden opportunity in the 18th minute when Edison had only the goalkeeper at his mercy but shot off target.
Post-resumption, Guirdolim Club adopted a different strategy to break the dead lock and in the 50th minute Joaquim scored off a free-kick. Guirdolim Club will now meet Sao Jose de Areal SC in the quarter-finals.
