Laxmi Narayan Trust is organising an exhibition cum sale of handmade decorative Diwali items created by the students with special needs on November 6 and 7 at Lingayat Math hall, Pajifond in Margao.
As the students are performing their school learning activities from home due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, this year these special students of Lokvishwas Pratisthan’s Day Care Centre at Dhavali Ponda, along with the students of Keshav Seva Sadhana School, Valpoi, have made colourful and reasonably priced lamps under the supervision and guidance of their teachers and parents.
“Those interested may visit the exhibition and buy these items to boost the morale of these children,” appeals Dr Nilesh Usgaonkar, founder, Laxmi Narayan Trust.
