MARGAO: A fine hat-trick by Hanslum enabled Margao Sports Club to march to the semi-finals after defeating Goa Velha Sports Club in the Nerul Panchayat Cup, organised by Nerul Sports Club, at Nerul Sports Club ground, on Monday.
The first half was goalless as both the teams missed couple of goal scoring opportunities.
In the the second half, Hanslum scored for Margao SC through Frazer Miranda. Velton D'Souza scored the second goal for Margao SC by beating the defenders. In the 48th minute, Hanslum's header off Frazer Miranda made it 3-0 for Magao SC.
Hanslum completed his hat-trick when referee whistled for a penalty shot when Goa Velha SC defender made a fall in the penalty area.
