Gomantak Sahitya Sevak Mandal will be celebrating Marathi Patrakar Din on January 6 at Institute Menezes Braganza in Panaji and homage will be paid to the late editor of ‘Darpan’ magazine, Balshastri Jambhekar. Senior journalists in Goa, Pramod Prabhugaonkar, Vijaykumar Kopre, Nitin Korgaonkar, Kishor Naik and Umesh Gad would be felicitated on the occasion. Social worker Kisan Phadte, an active participant in the cooperative sector will grace the event as chief guest. Deepak Bandekar, director, Information and Publicity will give the keynote address.
