Govind Gaude, Chairman of Kala Academy Goa, deeply condoles the loss of Comedian Selvy. “Matheus Correia popularly known as Comedian Selvy besides being a comedian was also a writer, director, producer and singer and displayed his extraordinary talent with his performance in VCD films. Initially he acted in various khell “tiatr. He acted in ‘Ekvott’, ‘Bott’, ‘Bovall’ and many others. A very humble and down to earth man and was very famous with kids. His popularity did not end on stage. He was in demand for video shoots and acted in more than 150 video movies. Comedian Selvy was an asset to the tiatr stage. His exit is a tremendous loss in the field of tiatr. Kala Academy joins one and all to condole his demise and prays to the Almighty that his soul may rest in peace and give strength to his bereaved family,” stated a press release.
