A youth has been arrested by Verna police in connection with a burglary at Cumborda-Verna.
According to information, Mamir Rahimuddin (25) complained of a burglary sometime between 1 am and 6 am at his rented room in Cumborda, with the accused stealing three mobile phones, an LCD TV, a mixer and a bag, all worth Rs 60,000.
Verna police registered an offence under Sections 457, 380 IPC.
The accused, Sunil Rathod (22) of Karnataka but residing at Nagoa was arrested and the stolen property was recovered from him.
LPSI Riyanka Naik is investigating the case under the supervision of Verna Police Inspector Sherif Jacques.
