Verna police arrested three persons on charges of theft at a house in Thane-Cortalim.
According to information, a businessman Dalpat Nath (35) from Thane-Cortalim had complained that unknown accused had stolen watches, mobile accessories and speakers, all worth about Rs 17,000, while also damaging CCTV cameras, causing a loss of Rs 10,000.
Verna police had registered an offence under Sections 457,380, 427 IPC.
Three persons, Akshay Talwar (19) of Margao, Aslam Jaffar Momin (19) of Margao and Sarvesh Singh (19) of Maina-Curtorim were arrested and the stolen property was recovered from them.
PSI Sanket Talkar is investigating the case under the supervision of Verna Police Inspector Sherif Jacques.
