MARGAO: A triple strike by Keren D'Souza enabled Union of Chinchinim Villagers to beat Compassion FC 3-2 in the Khelo U-13 women tournament at SAG Artificial turf, Fatorda, on Thursday.
Union of Chinchinim Villagers dominated the game however it was Sahana Gaonkar who broke the deadlock in the third minute. Unfazed, Union of Chinchinim Villagers went into attacking mode and Analee D'Costa cancelled the lead in the fourth minute to level the score. Keren D'Souza regained the lead in the seventh minute. Lilaina Rodrigues neutralised for Compassion FC in the 28th minute.
Crossing over, Union of Chinchinim Villagers created forays into the rival territory and Keren D'Souza struck the match winner in the 50th minute.
