On the occasion of “World Postal Day”, the Goa State Legal Services Authority inaugurated the installation of the Legal Services Informative Display Board at the Main Post Office, Panaji Goa as part of Pan India Awareness and Outreach Campaign, in the presence of Chief Guest Sayonara Telles-Laad, Member Secretary, Goa State Legal Services Authority, Col SFH Rizvi, Post Master General Goa Region, Narayan Amonkar, Secretary, District Legal services Authority, North Goa and Dr Sudhir Jakhere, Senior Superintendent of Post, Goa. Dr Jakhere introduced the chief guest. Telles-Laad, Member Secretary, Goa State Legal Services Authority, spoke on the availability and eligibility in respect of the Legal Aid Services and settlement of cases through mediation and Lok Adalats. She also appraised the gathering about the Legal Services Mobile Application. Col Rizvi expressed his gratitude on the collaborative venture to make Legal Services available to the beneficiaries in evrey nook and coroner in the State. Narayan Amonkar gave the vote of thanks. The applications forms for legal services, pamphlets, leaflets, etc shall be made available at the Main Post Offices in Panaji and Margao initially and shortly in rest of the Post Offices.
