Lifetime Achievement award to Khedekar

Veteran Goan writer and historian Padma Shri Vinayak Khedekar was awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award for his contribution to the field of Folk-lore, at the hands of Governor of Rajasthan Kalraj Mishra at Raj Bhavan, Jaipur on Thursday (March 25). The award, consisting of Rs 1,25,550, a silver strip and shawl, was constituted by the West Zone Cultural Centre, Udaipur in memory of Dr Kodak Kothari some years back.
