The Department of Art and Culture organizes a month-end theatre activity called ‘Prayog Saanj’ on the last Saturday of every month at Multipurpose Hall of Sanskruti Bhavan, Patto, Panaji.

‘Lagnafere’ a theatrical presentation will be presented in this ‘Prayog Saanj’ written and directed by Dnyanesh Moghe and produced by Satish Gawas and performed by ‘Aparant Maachi’ on March 27, 2021, at 6.30 pm. It is based on the film ‘Marriage Story’, Set design by Sandip Kalangutkar, Lights by Vikas Chopdekar, background music by Sunny Raul, Costumes by Deeplaxmi Moghe.

Lifetime Achievement award to Khedekar

PANAJIVeteran Goan writer and historian Padma Shri Vinayak Khedekar was awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award for his contribution to the field of Folk-lore, at the hands of Governor of Rajasthan Kalraj Mishra at Raj Bhavan, Jaipur on Thursday (March 25). The award, consisting of Rs 1,25,550, a silver strip and shawl, was constituted by the West Zone Cultural Centre, Udaipur in memory of Dr Kodak Kothari some years back.
