PANAJI: Light House, a centre for books and religious articles in Margao, is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year.
As a mark of the silver jubilee celebration, the renovated Light House was blessed by Cardinal Filipe Neri Ferrão on Friday in the presence of Bishop Emeritus of Port Blair Aleixo Dias and other priests along with lay faithful. The Light House is managed by Fr Victor Rodrigues.
In his address, Cardinal Ferrão congratulated the entire staff members and the manager of the Light House and said that the Light House is an instrument to carry out the ministry of service in the Archdiocese of Goa. The vote of thanks was proposed by Florinda Gomes.
