PANAJI: The Lions Regional Meet of Region XII of Lions District 317-B under Leadership of MJF Lion Illyas Rajabali was held recently at Socorro Panchayat Hall hosted by Lions Club of Calangute. Tourism Minister and Porvorim MLA Rohan Khaunte was the chief guest. Rotary District 3170 Past District Governor Rtn. Dr Jorson Fernandes was the keynote speaker.
While addressing the delegates, Khaunte appreciated the humanitarian service rendered by all the Lions Club during Pandemic. Rtn. Dr Jorson Fernandes spoke on theme of the event being ‘Together in Service’.
As part of the service activity of Region Meet, cheque was handed over to Novi Survat Goa organisation at the hands of the Chief Guest.
