Mormugao Port Authority (MPA) celebrated National Safety Week from March 6 to March 12. The valedictory function was held on March 13. Director of Goa Fire and Emergency Services Nitin V Raiker was the Chief Guest for the function, while MPA Dy Chairman Guruprasad Rai presided over the function. Prizes were awarded to winners of various competitions, including slogan, essay writing, drawing and Powerpoint presentation on safety. The vote of thanks was delivered by MPA Safety Officer Vidyadhar Durgekat.
