BICHOLIM
A 43-year-old man from Sarvan-Bicholim died on the spot when his car rammed into a stationary bus on the main road at Bicholim on Sunday evening.
According to reports, the incident took place at about 4.30 pm when Siddharth Sawant was going towards Bicholim, when the car rammed into a minibus which was parked by the roadside.
The car was badly damaged and Sawant was trapped in the vehicle. He died on the spot.
Bicholim police inspector Mahesh Gadekar and a police team later removed the body and sent it for an autopsy at the GMC. Investigations are in progress.
