The Health Centre of MES College of Arts and Commerce, Zuarinagar organized a lecture on Menstrual Hygiene recently in the BBA hall of the college. Dr Amita Talauliker (MBBS, DGO, DNB), Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist was the resource person. A total of 29 female students participated in the lecture. The objective of the lecture was to sensitize students on the importance of menstrual hygiene and create awareness on the misconceptions related to menstruation and self-care. Dr Manasvi M. Kamat, Principal of MES College of Arts & Commerce welcomed the resource person. Sandhya Ghogale, Coordinator of the programme, introduced the resource person. Maria Fatima D’Costa, the Chairperson of the Health Centre, proposed the vote of thanks. Mamta Kavlekar, member of the Health Centre was also present for the programme.
