National Youth Week was celebrated with enthusiasm at GVM’s Dr Dada Vaidya College of Education in association with the Directorate of Sports & Youth Affairs, Directorate of Technical Education, Directorate of Higher Education, Directorate of Planning, Statistics and Evaluation, Department of Information and Publicity, CA India and Psychiatric Society of Goa on January 18, 2024, commemorating the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda. The event commenced with a soulful Sharda Vandana and a floral tribute to Swami Vivekananda. Dignitaries, including chief guest, Minister Ramkrishna alias Sudin Dhavalikar and guest of honour Bhaskar Khandeparkar, President, GVM’s General Body graced the occasion, adding warmth to the celebration. Among the other dignitaries present were members of Goa Vidyaprasarak Mandal working committee, Shri. Ashok Nagvenkar, Shri Jayant Mandurkar, Shri. Prabhat Shikerkar, Sri. Deepak Gaonkar, and Principal of GVM’s Gopal Govind Poy Raiturcar College of Commerce and Economics Prof (Dr) Teotone Vaz.
