The Directorate of Agriculture has invited nominations for State Agriculture Awards for the year 2020-21 from the Goan farmers for their outstanding performance in Agriculture and Horticulture for the Krishi Ratna “ Rs two lakh plus Citation, Krishi Vibhushan “ Rs one lakh plus Citation and Krishi Bhushan “ Rs 0.50 lakh plus Citation awards.
Nominations also invited from farmers for Special Agriculture Award for organic farming and traditional medicinal plants (late Fr Inacio Almeida Awards) for Rs 0.50 lakh plus Citation. Forms are available at the office of the Zonal Agriculture Officer in the respective talukas during office hours. The last date for submission of completed applications to the Zonal Offices is October 25, 2020.
