Padre Conceicao College of Engineering (PCCE) and Don Bosco College of Engineering (DBC Panaji) won the ‘Big Idea Project’ contest organised by the Goa Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GCCI) Education Committee in association with the Indian Pharmaceutical Association and Goa Pharmaceutical Manufacturers’ Association The finals of Big Idea Project competition was held for the students of architecture, engineering and pharmacy colleges. The first prize of Rs 30,000 was won by the ‘Smart Shoe for Blind’ team from Padre Conceicao College of Engineering, Verna. The runners up were ‘Neural Kissan’ team from the Don Bosco College of Engineering, Fatorda, with a trophy and cash prize of Rs 20,000. The second runners up were ‘Auto Junction’ team from Padre Conceicao College of Engineering, with a trophy and cash Prize of Rs 10,000.
