On the occasion of the birth centenary of Swami Vivekananda on January 12 which is celebrated as National Youth Day, a one frame exhibit was opened at Goa Science Centre, Miramar by Dr MR Ramesh Kumar, former President of the Goa Philately and Numismatics Society (GPNS). The exhibition will be open for two days, from January 11 and 12.
An on-the-spot philatelic quiz was conducted and several prizes were given to the students and public. Dr Kumar has displayed several stamps on Swami Vivekananda and also on the youth icons of Goa and Maharashtra.
